There is a facility in a suburb of large city in Southern California located in the picturesque Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains! The town itself is located on a gorgeous lake! The organization offering the position is one of the largest, private, non-profit, community based and governed agencies in California! The agency has over 24 locations and has been serving the people of California for over 40 years! This agency is looking for a Family Practice physician who is willing to dedicate himself or herself to their mission of providing quality health care services along with health education and health promotion and prevention to the individuals within the communities in which they serve. The organization can be described as "a program of local, state, and federal resources meeting the needs of our very at-risk patient populations." This is a 100% outpatient position. The organization offers a competitive salary and loan repayment opportunities. Candidates will need 3 written references as well as 3 to 4 references to call.

It is a suburb of a larger city about 30 minutes away, and the town itself is only a 3 hour drive from Los Angeles and about a 4 hour drive to San Francisco! It is a smaller, more rural suburb but has plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery to capture one's interest! It is located at the convergence of two rivers that are known for good trout fishing. The town hosts a Fishing Derby annually, and it is one of the nation's largest trout derbies! This area is a popular destination for hikers, boaters, windsurfers, fishermen, bird watchers, campers, hunters, kayakers, and other outdoor enthusiasts! The town is also the host of one of California's largest Wild West celebrations, which means four days of fun for the entire family every year! The town is proud of Wild West heritage and its Native American history. The town is also located in the midst of the Sequoia National Forest which further adds to its stunning natural beauty! |
